My weekend

Saturday evening was spent at jie jie Mel's house. There we celebrated President's birthday!
And the cake looked so delicious that I couldn't get my hands off it!

While at jie jie Mel's house, I learned a few new words from kor kor Josh and my President got it all down on video! Upload the video Ms President so that the world can hear my new words!
Then on Sunday, I went to church in my brand new Polo Ralph Lauren tee! And my fav kor kor was wearing the polo tee from the same label!
Don't we look cute in our matching colour tops and tongues sticking out?



Then outside the sanctuary, mommy wanted to take a picture with me but I couldn't sit still so the picture didn't turn out quite well.... Sorry mommy!

Of sweets and pants

I guess I am one of the only kids in church that cannot eat sweets. Mommy and Daddy are trying to find out what is causing my hives, so I cannot take sweets, lest it is the food colouring that causes my hives. Well, a consolation, I had a yellow M&M today in church, jie jie Yeeshi bought it for me.

I am rather tall I think. President saw me and she was shocked. I am 92cm now.

I am having a bad running nose

I am sick again. Having a very bad running nose. It started on Tuesday. It was so bad on Tuesday night that I couldn't sleep and I told mommy that I want to see Dr Chan.

Mom helped me to rub vicks on my chest and neck. I don't like it on my nose. I tried helping myself but ended up with a scolding from mommy because I took too much of the vicks cream. oops!

I finally got to see the doctor yesterday. I was so happy when Mommy came and picked me up early to see Dr Aw. Mommy said Dr Chan's clinic is too far so we will see Dr Aw for this time.

Dr Aw is a friendly man. He talks alot to my Daddy and Mommy. When I said bye to him, he said I am a cheerful boy. That is a nice compliment right? :)

I woke up this morning not wanting to go to school but I guess I have no choice as Daddy and Mommy has to go to work. I just have to learn to be happy in school.

My First Movie in the Cinema

Dad and Mom bought me to the cinema to see a movie on 31 March 2008, Monday at Causeway Point. They said the movie is about an elephant named Horton. They tried explaining to me how the cinema looks like. They said it is a dark and loud room with a big screen. Wow!

We bought tickets, popcorn and drinks over the counter. We got the popcorn and drinks delivered to our seats just when the movie was starting.

I sat in the middle of Daddy and Mommy. The lady over the ticket counter says it is a couple seat so that I am able to squeeze in between both of them.

As I walked into the cinema, I was stunned by the big big big TV. I was so engrossed that I didn't even realised that Daddy and Mommy was looking at me and smiling at my 'engross' face.

The show started and went on with occasional commentary from Mommy. I ate popcorn just like Daddy and Mommy and drank Zappel. Yummy popcorn. Hmm... seems like the elephant is going away from home. The vulture is trying to catch the elephant. Oh dear, the elephant must go home. I am going to cry, I can't watch anymore. Daddy, Mommy, I want to go home! Oh dear, the animals captured the elephant. wah! wah! I dun want to see anymore. Elephant must go home!

I guess that was my breaking point. I just burst into tears! Daddy carried me and we stood at the back of the cinema. Daddy and Mommy kept telling me it's ok, the elephant is going to be alright. As we stood at the back of the cinema, sure enough, the elephant was ok. The animals didn't released him and they were friends again. It was so kind of the elephant to give a cookie to the kangaroo who was so mean to him. The elephant then went back to the jungle with his friends. All is well.

But it really took me some time to process the whole story before I can be myself again.

It was a good experience and I like the elephant.

Two Sundays ago, I received a present.


And all I had to do in return was to smile at the camera!


Then kor kor Josh said: "Show me your tummy" And I stuck out my tummy as far out as it could go!

Oh! I see it! But my arms are too short to reach the bottom of the bag to get the present...


It's a packet of crackers! Why did jie jie Shirley give me such a big bag for a small packet of crackers?


Well, I guess I'll never know. But the crackers were really good! Thank you jie jie Shirley!
